Trevor's Graduation

Lonely Week in June

What should I do with myself....Trevor is going to be out of town for a week and a half. I want to have fun pampering myself and doing what I want to do.. 1. Get Message 2. Get Facial 3. Pedicure 4. Walk the Dogs 5. Organize my dresser drawers Doesn't sound like too much fun, but sounds good to me! What else should I do? Anyone want to hang out?

WHY?

We were all excited about getting synthetic grass in our backyard, but of course the City of Thornton is the only city left in CO that still has a ban on it. It's the best stuff ever, i've done my research. It has a 10 year warranty, you save water, you never have to mow, fertilize, seed or re-sod! Dogs love it and don't ruin it. It's a little bit pricey but when you figure all the benefits of it, it all averages out. DAMN! Back to sod, watering, mowing and ugly grass by the end of each summer. WTF! Any suggestions on what else we could do?

Currently our yard is a mud pit...we put straw down so the dogs don't get covered in mud, it helps but it looks really bad!

Damn neighbor kept driving over our lawn after Trevor asked him not to. Then we got some rocks and the dumbass asked Trevor to move them back a little bit because he almost hits them everytime he pulls out of his garage....maybe there is a reason we put them there?? Hmmmmmm.....the smarts of a felon.

recession

When your neighbor loooses his job its a recession when you lose your job its a depression... So the world is falling apart right before our eyes, people are lossing their jobs and homes are being repossessed everywhere. I have a story to share about the tragidy of the economy.. This lady I work with told us her neighbor just committed suicide. They live in a nice home and he has 3 year old triplet girls and a homemaker wife. I guess he lost his job and has not been able to find another one, he was taking it extremely hard. He and his wife talked about what they needed to do all weekend, they made a plan to seek some help on Monday morning. On Sunday night the wife got the girls ready for bed and tucked them it. Then she told her husband she was going to bed and he said he wanted to listen to music and would be to bed shortly. Just after midnight she heard a gun shot and found her husband...

Protesters - Get a Life

I hate seeing pro-life protesters with their terrible signs. I just had a confrontation with a "male" protester on the street holding a sign of an aborted fetus. I kindly asked him where he got off thinking he had any right to tell a women when she can or can not have a child. I told him to go and raise a crack baby and then tell me how wonderful it is to watch a newborn with an addition. I also told him to get raped then find out your are pregnant with a rapist's child (how would you explain to your child that you were raped and the rapist is your father?). He told me to get a life. It was great, don't you think if you are protesting you should have a better come back then get a life. I just laughed and told him to keep up the good work and it might be a good idea to get educated on the facts so when people do not agree with him he will have a more educated response then get a life. I thought the reason for protesting was to educate people with the facts not tell them off when they say something you do not agree with... I know a social worker who worked with babies of addiction and it is the worst thing she has ever experienced. Don't get me wrong, if you use abortion as a form of birth control you should be damned, but if it is a circumstance that is beyond your control and you don't feel that a baby will improve the situation by all means get an abortion!! Wow the DNC is turning out to be a riot!
